Tree reduction, also known as crown reduction, is performed to manage the size and shape of a tree, ensuring safety and health. It reduces the overall height and spread, mitigating risks from overgrown branches that could break during storms, thus protecting nearby structures and people. Additionally, it helps balance the tree’s structure, preventing stress damage and promoting healthier growth by removing weak, diseased, or damaged branches. Tree reduction also enhances light penetration and air circulation within the canopy, benefiting the tree and the surrounding landscape.
